A new generation, wrecked by the love and beauty of God, is on the scene that will change all of that and usher in the the great global harvest before the return of King Jesus. A Birmingham, transformed by the glory of God, holds a key to the transformation of cities all across America. The Birmingham Prayer Furnace fuels the fires of night and day, city-wide, corporate prayer and worship unto Jesus, our world's coming Bridegroom King and Judge!
Our growing volunteer network of friends, high school and college students, young adults, old adults, marketplace workers, housewives, churches, and praying communities represent the one Body of Jesus Christ across the Birmingham area. Anyone with a heart to burn in God's presence and pray for Birmingham is welcome. Our desire is that the fire of God's Spirit, burning in the hearts of His people would never go out in our city.
We are a mobile prayer room.
Prayer Furnace events honor the geography and ethnic diversity of our region by meeting at various host sites sharing the same passion for Jesus and His Kingdom to be expressed. A typical Prayer Furnace event is 27 hours twice each month. We alternate locations around the "Walls of the City" and the "Heart of the City". Click on the Calendar link for current times and locations. Help the fires of corporate prayer and worship to spread to more locations and fill more of the calendar in 2010!

Each email update has links to the Prayer Furnace schedule in order for you to see what is happening during each 2 hour segment of the gathering. On the right side column of the scheduler, you can even sign in for the times you are planning to be in the Prayer Room to let the world know how many are praying on site.
A NEW Wineskin for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in 2010!
The Birmingham Prayer Furnace has local leadership, but is dynamically and intimately connected to powerful night and day praying communities including the International House of Prayer in Kansas City and 24/7 Prayer USA which inspire cities and campuses across America to pray for and work for justice 24/7. There is a huge wave of God moving through these communities and we are riding it!! Tuesday "Awakening Meetings" provide a sacred space for God to have his way with all who want His touch in their lives. Don't miss it!! 7 to 9 pm weekly at Fullness Christian Fellowship, 2575 Columbiana Drive in Vestavia.
"UNTIL..." Services each Friday and Saturday Night at 8pm during each Prayer Furnace
We take time out of continuous worship and prayer for Biblical teaching on themes of Intimacy with Jesus on Friday and Involvement with God's Kingdom on Saturday. Altar ministry is sometimes provided.
