The Part-Time BPF Hope Culture Summer Intensive (BHI)

Why an intensive?

Keeping up with our responsibilities amidst the daily grind is simply part of life. Nevertheless, there is great wisdom in taking seasons of consecration unto the Lord. In these times, God thrills our hearts with His beauty in a way that equips us to walk with Him faithfully even after the time of intense consecration has ended.

The Vision

The vision of the Summer Intensive is to worship Jesus now and prepare the earth to worship him forever!

The Part-Time Summer Intensive:

For many, especially those over the age of 25, the Part-Time Intensive may be exactly what they need. This program is ideal for those who have to work or have family responsibilities, but would love to take a few weeks to be intentional about finding the Lord in the midst of the business of life. The Part-Time Intensive is designed to give you the accountability to make prayer a priority in your life, but in a way that is flexible around your busy weekly commitments. The minimum age for participation is 18 (The Intensive will not be responsible for getting Part-Timers to Intensive activities). There is no maximum age limit.

Weekly Commitment

Applicants will work with the Intensive leadership to create a weekly schedule that works for them. Although welcome to all the classes, Part-Timers will be asked to come to 2 of the 3 weeknight classes (3 hours total), and to join the Full-Time interns for 7 hours a week in the prayer room, for a total of a 10 hour weekly commitment. The Part-Timers are also asked to join the Full-Time interns in a weekly fasting day.

Though there will be some accountability for the Part-Timers, it will ultimately be up to the participants to honor their commitment. This will primarily entail getting themselves to the prayer room and classes, and being on time. The weekly commitment, although designed to be as conducive as possible, is a pledge to the Lord. Therefore, concerning those who would really like to do the Part-Time Intensive, but are not sure they can make it a serious priority, we humbly ask that they decide against being a part of the Intensive.

Part-Timers will receive two classes, and they are welcome to come to reading discussion groups, two dinners a week, any outreaches, and, of course, as much additional prayer room time as their hearts desire!
